Tom’s home inspection career began with his graduation from the ASHI Home Inspector School in Brentwood, TN. He had the privilege of being mentored by one of the area’s most experienced and sought-after inspectors, honing his skills to deliver meticulous inspections.

In addition to his ASHI membership, Tom is a Certified Residential Thermographer (CRT) through Monroe Infrared, a Certified Residential Radon Measurement specialist through Green Training USA, and an ASHI Background Verified Inspector (BVI). The ASHI BVI program conducts voluntary full background checks to prevent inspectors with criminal backgrounds from entering your home.

Furthermore, Tom’s personal experience in rehabbing multiple homes over the years has given him invaluable real-world knowledge. Having been on the client side and hiring home inspectors himself, Tom truly understands the significance of their role. His objective is to guide clients through what can often be a stressful process, providing education and relaying crucial information about the property.

Skills & Experiences That Go Beyond

Tom’s professional credentials are complemented by his academic accomplishments, having graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. As a Marine Corps Veteran and retired Police Sergeant/SWAT Team Sniper, Tom spent over two decades protecting and serving his community.

Through these experiences, he developed a keen sense of observation, attention to detail, and the importance of conducting thorough investigations. Tom believes that these skills align perfectly with his role as a home inspector, allowing him to prioritize client safety and thoroughness.
